A lending hand...Assistance...A voice of reason
We know that sometimes all it takes for change to happen is a little support. We work to help people with addiction find the resources they need.
Join us in the fight!
Our Mission is to prevent and reduce substance abuse by uniting the citizens of DeWitt County, Illinois for the purpose of preventing and reducing substance abuse amongst the youth and adults, by promoting substance abuse awareness, education, and advocacy within the community.
The DeWitt County Substance Abuse Coalition operates with the belief that our efforts make a difference in the community. Join us to make an impact and bring about transformation in our community. Our goal is to lend support and to provide education and resources to those affected by substance abuse.
AREAS of FOCUS
A meeting is held the third Tuesday of each month at 10:00am at The Vault Community Center on Mr. Lincoln's Square in Clinton, IL.
Leaders from various area organizations attend the coalition meetings in an effort to build programs to fight substance abuse, including the De Witt County Sheriff's Office, Warner Hospital & Health Services, Illinois State Police Task Force 6, Clinton Area Ministerial Association (CAMA), New Vision, Footprints to Recovery, National Guard, De Witt/Piatt County Health Department, and WHOW.
The meeting is open to the public. Your support is greatly appreciated.
VOLUNTEER and COMMUNITY SERVICE
