- Distortions of thought associated with time and space
- Vivid Hallucinations
- Potential for flashbacks weeks and months after taking the drug with minimal provocation

 

EFFECTS ON BODY

- Elevated Heart rate
- Increased blood pressure
- Dilated pupils

 

WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS

- Decreased reflexes
- Weight loss
- Memory Loss
- Confusion
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Lack of Impulse Control
- Loss of Conciousness

 

OVERDOSE SYMPTOMS

- Respiratory Depression
- Convulsions
- Seizures
- Coma
- Death due to respiratory arrest

 

WHAT DO TO FOR SOMEONE OVERDOSING

- Call for medical assistance if necessary
- Stay with the person and stop them from hurting themselves or others

 

LEGALITY

- Most hallucinogens are Schedule I under the Controlled Substances Act, meaning that they have a high potential for abuse, no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States, and a lack of accepted safety for use under medical supervision.
